The Tuskegee Area Chamber of Commerce (TACC) is a voluntary partnership of businesses, professionals, and the community at large working together towards a common goal: to sustain and improve the economic well-being of the business community and to improve the quality of life.

TACC is dedicated to exceptional service, provides an organization framework in which local leaders can act, respond, participate in programs and activities which will advance the economic well-being of the Tuskegee-Macon County Area Community. This framework lays the foundation for involvement by industry, commercial/retail establishments, service professional firms, education, agriculture, cultural arts, beautification, and business advocacy.

TACC keeps several broad objectives in mind:
To help businesses prosper and grow
To increase job opportunities
To encourage an orderly expansion and development of all segments of the community
To contribute to the overall economic stability of the community
To encourage and promote the nation's private enterprise system of competitive marketing.

TACC accomplishes these objectives by
having specific goals designed to meet the needs of the community, having organizational structure for coordinating volunteers and programs.

As TACC works to accomplish these goals, it wears many hats, serving as economic developer and planner, tourist information center, business spokesperson, economic counselor and teacher, government relations, specialist, human resources advisor, and public relations practitioner.

Further TACC is committed to forging a sound partnership with all of the resources institutions and agencies which are critical to economic development in the community.
